3.8 Conclusion: Your Body, Your Rules
This was a long chapter. We talked about types of spirits, possession mechanics, removal methods, and other sources of trouble.
The point of all this is to help you live a normal, unbothered life.
Your life should follow its own trajectory, free from this kind of interference. You are a human being with a complete, sovereign consciousness. You don't need to borrow power from anything else.
Stand on your own.
Even if you're dealing with an attachment, you must be strong. Possession is a war inside your body. Your soul vs. the Yao Xie. Your energy channels are the battleground.
A Qi Cultivator can use incantations as artillery to shell the enemy's positions, but you are the infantry holding the ground. When the practitioner isn't there, your own willpower is what keeps those recaptured channels from being taken again.
If you give up, the Yao Xie will regroup and counter-attack. You'll feel the symptoms return. Don't panic. Even if it takes back some ground, it's weaker now. Resume the practice and push it back out again.
You need Determination and Patience.
With those two things, nothing is insurmountable.
