3.6    Expulsion and Defense---An Operational Manual

Let's get practical.

What do you do about a Yao Xie attachment? How do you handle a haunted house?

The Principle: In this tradition, unauthorized possession is a violation. The human's well-being comes first. Whatever the spirit's story is, if it's harming the person, it needs to go.

Ghosts of the Dead: Use a "Ghost-Repelling Talisman" or Incantation. Symptoms usually improve or vanish within 12 hours.

Unfused Yao Xie: Direct incantation or specific acupuncture can drive it out immediately. But this is rare. In fifteen years of practice, I've seen maybe two or three unfused cases.

Fused Yao Xie. This is the hard one. The human body becomes a shield for the Yao Xie, giving it resistance to incantations.

The only reliable method here is attrition. Use incantations over a long period (months to years) to slowly grind down the Yao Xie's power while simultaneously strengthening the host's own Righteous Qi.

This process takes time. Depending on the Yao Xie's strength, depth of fusion, and the host's willpower, it can take 1 to 5 years or more. Don't freak out about the timeline. The daily commitment is usually small---maybe 20-30 minutes of listening to a recorded incantation (thank you, modern technology, for making this transmission efficient even via live stream).

You can also learn a simple protective incantation to practice for a few minutes a day.

Most people feel noticeable improvement within two months. Some feel a shift after the first session. But full eradication takes time.

During this process, the Yao Xie will suffer. It might make the host groan, scream, shake, or create illusions to try and stop the treatment. But as its power wanes, its resistance fades. The key is persistence.
